About Ansasol
Generating energy and employment from a sustainable vocation
Ansasol S.L. is a company dedicated to solar energy projects and installations. We have more than SEVENTEEN years of experience in the Spanish photovoltaic market and TWENTY in renewable energies in Germany.
Our service includes the entire development, processing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. Our own engineering department is responsible for all planning, processing and construction of technical projects. We have a commercial and financial team specialised in the procurement, contracting and marketing process. We are dedicated to the development of photovoltaic installations both on land and on the roofs of industrial buildings.
Mission
To develop our renewable energy projects with maximum efficiency and a commitment to sustainability.
Our vision
To carry out clean and renewable energy projects anywhere in the world, through efficient, profitable and sustainable production processes.

History
MILESTONE
From our beginnings to the latest projects
2004. Beginnings in Andalusia
After more than 20 years of experience in photovoltaic energy in Germany, Ansasol arrives in Andalusia.
2008. Construction of the first ground-mounted plant.
2009. Construction of the first rooftop PV plant.
2012. Change of regulation
Start of processing of large-scale farms Don Rodrigo I (180 MWp), Guillena (122 MWp) and Puerto Real I (133 MWp).
2017-2019. The large projects begin
First Spanish company to build a large-scale ground-mounted photovoltaic installation, the largest in EUROPE and the first to do so without premiums or subsidies. December 2017: Work begins. May 2019: Grid connection of the Don Rodrigo I plant and start of commercial activity.
2020
January. Start of work on the Puerto Real 133 MWp plant. February. Connection to the grid of the Guillena 122 MWp plant.
Current status
More than 20 projects under development, both in own projects and for third parties, working with leading companies in the sector such as RWE, Iberdrola, BayWa Renovables, etc.
Innovation
What's next, green hydrogen
Green hydrogen is here to stay as an energy source with great potential, emission-free and with countless applications yet to be discovered. At Ansasol we already have several projects in the initial phase.
FAQs
Your questions
We answer the most frequently asked questions about photovoltaic solar energy and green hydrogen
- It is a renewable and sustainable source of energy.
- Spain has many hours of sunshine throughout the day and solar panels can be used almost anywhere. For example, this is very useful in areas where installing wiring is difficult.
- It helps mitigate the carbon footprint considerably. Solar photovoltaic energy does not generate greenhouse gases or pollute.
- Its use, instead of other fossil fuel energy sources, helps to conserve the environment.
- It saves money because it does not require the extraction of materials for its operation.
- It has calorific value, something that does not occur with other renewable energies.
- It reduces energy dependence on the exterior.
- It facilitates the reduction of energy consumption and the savings are noticeable in the bill.
The presence of a solar plant brings benefits to the territory and to the economy, both in terms of employment throughout the production chain and through the income generated and guaranteed by the different phases of the project: from the initial development to the operation and maintenance of the plants, including, obviously, the installation phase. This also makes it possible to reduce energy imports. Among the most advantageous prospects is the possibility of realising hybrid plants, in which photovoltaic energy is combined with another renewable energy source such as wind and hydroelectric power, or with battery systems for storage and plants for the production of green hydrogen.
The electricity grid already manages variability according to customer demand, which changes during the course of the day and from day to day. Solar energy changes predictably during the alternation between day and night and between seasons and, less regularly, according to weather conditions: all of this marginally increases the variability in terms of electricity system output. Most of the changes in solar energy production are compensated for by other sources of supply or by the opposite variations in electricity demand, according to demand response programmes. Thanks to sophisticated electronic controls, modern solar parks can ensure grid reliability similar to that provided by conventional fossil-fired power plants. In addition, advances in energy storage can mitigate the intermittency of renewables without the need to burn fossil fuels. Finally, over longer periods of time, such as an entire year, the amount of solar energy that can be produced is more regular and predictable.
Hydrogen is the most abundant chemical element in the universe, but it is always in the company of other elements, so it can be obtained from a wide variety of raw materials. Using water as a raw material and electricity as an energy source, the water molecule can be broken down into oxygen and hydrogen through the process of electrolysis.
If the electricity needed for the electrolysis is obtained from renewable energy sources, the hydrogen obtained is called green hydrogen, since no polluting gases are emitted into the atmosphere during the production process.
